Disclaimer

Volunteers shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Rebuild Seaside or any town in which we volunteer within for any and all actual or alleged claims, demands, causes of action, liability, loss, damage and/or injury (to property or persons, including without limitation wrongful death), whether brought by an individual other entity, or imposed by a court of law or by administrative action of any federal, state, or local governmental body or agency, arising out of or incident to any acts, omission, negligence, or willful misconduct of all parties, its personnel, employees, agents, contractors, or volunteers in connection with or arising out of those parties' actions.

This indemnification applies to and includes, without limitation, the payment of all penalties, fines, judgments, awards, decrees, attorneys fees, and related costs or expenses, and any reimbursements to Rebuild Seaside for all legal expenses and costs incurred by it.

In other words, we appreciate your willingness to help BUT IT IS STILL A DANGEROUS AREA AND ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN! You know this going in and continue to do so under your own willpower.

Be mindful that while bringing children to help makes for a great life lesson, it is still manual labor that we perform and we leave it to the parents discretion of what their child can handle. Please use sound judgement with what you allow your child to do while helping volunteer. We would never want to see anyone hurt while trying to help!

We, at Rebuild Seaside, are volunteers just like you, so let's all make a difference!

THANKS!
